Encourages those of us who feel overlooked, limited, or disqualified and reminds us that God still uses unlikely people in powerful ways. There will be 8 people we will look at together... God wants to capture your heart. He wants to bring you to His Word. Make you come back for more. To say That's in the Bible? There will be some gross and strange people/stories even a person we won't know their name. We will experience together on our Mission. Let's get started!

FSBCPV - Memorial Day - 2026

Here’s a concise summary of your sermon presentation: **Memorial Day: “What Are These Stones For?”** The message connects the purpose of Memorial Day with the story in Joshua chapter 4. Just as we honor those who sacrificed their lives for freedom, God instructed Israel to build a memorial of twelve stones after crossing the Jordan River so future generations would remember His faithfulness and power. ### Main points: **1. God commands us to remember** Israel was not supposed to forget what God had done. In the same way, we should remember: * Sacrifice * Courage * Service * Blessings that came at a cost **2. Memorials teach the next generation** God knew children would one day ask, *“What do these stones mean?”* Memorials create opportunities to teach: * Gratitude * Faithfulness * Sacrifice * Service to others * Remembering how God has carried us through life **3. Faith and courage are required** Crossing the Jordan happened during dangerous flood conditions and required trust in God. The message compares this to: * Soldiers stepping into danger * Families carrying burdens * People walking in faith during uncertain times **Closing message:** Memorials matter because people forget. The challenge is not just to remember sacrifices of the past, but to ask: *“How should we live because of them?”* The sermon in one sentence: *Remember God's faithfulness and honor sacrifice so future generations understand both the cost of freedom and the importance of faith.*

Today we are at our final week of Blooming Where God Plants Us. In week 1 we looked at being here for a purpose. Being in the neighborhood and workplace for a purpose. Nobody is placed here or there randomly or by mistake. God planted me here. You are here. Right where you are! Week 2 which was importance of having strong roots when the hard times come. Spending time with God in the Bible and in Prayer. And letting Jesus take charge of our lives. Our emotions. Our thoughts. We also learned week 2 that we can plant but we can't make our own growth. It requires work. Attention. Last week we looked at eliminating dead branches or branches in our lives that are growing but not in a good way. We defined it as pruning and how it is necessary for us to continue to grow and Bloom! Let's pray for this week's message Blooming For His Glory!
